What do I do if my child cannot attend school?

If your child is not able to attend school, we politely ask you to ring the school office by 9:00am (01942 674226) on the day to explain why your child cannot attend school. There is an answer machine, so messages can to left. We also run a first day calling system and so school will telephone if we do not hear from you.

Does my child have to wear a school uniform?

Pupils are expected to wear school uniform. All uniform must be clearly labelled with their name and class. We suggest that you purchase pens/ labels to do this so children do not mix uniforms. Children should come to school wearing their PE kit on PE days. Further information about the day your child has PE can be found on class pages.

What can the children have for lunch?

All children in Classes 1-5 are entitled to a free school meal, there are a selection of meal choices available each day.

Children in Class 6-11 may be entitled to free school meals or can pay for meals.

All children can bring a packed lunch to school if they wish. We ask that this is a healthy lunch. For example, a sandwich, piece of fruit, crisps or biscuit and a still drink.
