Governors have asked that we introduce a reward each Friday for the children in Classes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. If they have their reading record/planner signed each day to show that they have read for 20 minutes their name will be put in a draw. Each Friday a child’s name will be drawn out and they can choose a book as a prize. Well done to Joshua and Silas who won a prize recently.

---------------------

We now have a tradition within the school that when it is a child’s birthday they are invited to come into school for the day in their own clothes. If their birthday is in the holidays or at the weekend they are invited to come into school on the day following the holiday or weekend in their own clothes. Many thanks.

--------------------

Polite notice – I am unable to authorise any holidays in term time for children, the Governors of the school are concerned by our attendance figures. The school doors open at 8.45am for children in classes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. Children in classes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are welcomed into class at 8.55am Registers are taken at approximately 9am – any child arriving after this will be given a late mark.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mrs H. Ahmed
